Prepping For Halloween

          With Halloween around the corner, the only thing that is running through my mind is "what am I going to wear"?

           It's a question I constantly get overwhelmed with, and I'm sure a lot of people feel the same. When it comes to Halloween, we as individuals have the opportunity to dress up and essentially be whomever or whatever we want one day a year. Boys become anything from soldiers and dinosaurs to transformers or even an avocado. While girls could dress up from princesses and cheerleaders to zombies and ironic memes like a "crazy cat lady". The point is to be creative and have fun with it.

          You can do anything this time of year! From handmade costumes to thrifting or even buying one from the store, you can mix and match and quite literally become anything you want. I have had the pleasure this year of checking out a few stores such as the very popular Spirit Halloween, but I have also decided to do some online shopping. I have to say, I have found a huge variety and I wanted to share these with you!

          First off, are you kidding? Both websites have an amazing selection. Especially when it comes to Halloween, and I fell in love with each of their selections immediately. Not only do they have everyday clothing on one, but also Halloween Decor! Who doesn't love that? I know if I could, I would have my house looking spooky 365 days a year.

Clothes on Dresslily

          For Dresslily specifically, I have found that due to it mainly being a clothing shop, they don't have a lot of costumes on hand. However! If you're anything like me and just like to be spooky all the time, you can add to your wardrobe with everyday clothing with a little Halloween vibe mixed in. The great news is I can actually get you some really great deals as well on your orders if you find anything you like.

          Everyday clothing isn't usually hard to come by you can easily go to a store and buy clothes, no problem. However, if you're anything like me and tend to go for specific styles while also being plus size, you tend to shop online a lot. Even before I became an affiliate for dresslily, I absolutely loved their clothing and still have some pieces as part of my dailies.

          That being said, dresslily focuses more on the themed styled everyday clothes versus costumes. Which is totally fine! It allows you to look at everyday clothing and decide whether you'd like to be spooky that day. Whether it's a dress or even a statement accessory piece. The point is, you can add to your wardrobe and add to your style from the comfort of your own home without the stressors of being out in public and the embarrassment you might feel if the clothes you picked out don't fit, you can simply return them for a better size for you.

          While searching for on HalloweenCostumes, I also decided to check out their decorations, and let me just say, this website will most likely be the one I go to every year to add to my collection of Halloween goodies as well as just everyday items. I'll provide some pictures below, but I highly suggest checking this out for yourself. They have amazingly high-quality products for their decorations, but super high-quality fabrics for all their costumes. Comparing their prices to a lot of others that are available, it also seems they have the best deals going around, especially with the links they have allowed me to share with you guys to get you even more special savings on your purchases.

          From exclusive costumes to home decor, it seems this website has it all and more! The plus side is that this website has deals going on every single day of the year and it has all sorts of different costumes for every major holiday rather than just Halloween! It is a great tool to just hop on and grab spooky decorations for a project you've cooked up or really anything.

          Just like with dresslily, the point is to have fun with it and enjoy the spirit of the holiday with your loved ones. So, get out there, fulfill your spooky vibes by adding to your home decor and everyday clothing and bask in the glow of the Autumnal weather.

Take Advantage of this Time

          Now, I know I'm preaching to the choir here, because I tend to not take my own advice, but seriously, take advantage of this amazing season!

You can do anything at this point!

          What I mean by that is go on a walk, take in the fresh air and the scenery around you. Take a deep breath and spend time with those you hold dear to you. We are in the season where people need others more than anything, a lot of us are affected by things like seasonal depression, so the point of actively getting out there and doing something you enjoy is all the more important.

          Go to a pumpkin patch and do a cute photoshoot, either by yourself, with a loved one, or a pet. Get yourself a pumpkin, carve or paint it, get candy if you want. Go to an amusement park like Universal Studios or Knotts Scary Farm and scare yourself to death. Go on a hayride.  Whatever you decide to do, make sure you enjoy your time and be a kid again. I mean, why not? You can do and be anything you set your mind to.
